Georginio Rutter insists that does not feel any added 'pressure' after becoming Leeds United's club record signing. The Frenchman joined the Whites for a fee that could rise to £35 million in add-ons.
The 20-year-old is in contention to make his debut against Brentford on Sunday, after being ineligible for their 5-2 victory over Cardiff City in Wednesday's FA Cup third round replay.
Much has been made of the transfer fee paid for Rutter, but the player himself is solely focused on delivering on the football pitch, rather than on any of the added pressure on the outside.
"It's not something that puts any pressure on me at all really. I concentrate on playing my football, doing stuff that I know I can do, doing stuff that I know how to do," Rutter told the media.

"We'll see how things go. But it's a thing where transfers are between clubs, it's the clubs that negotiate, I just get on with my football."
Illan Meslier starred in France's youth teams with Rutter, and played a contributory role in both encouraging him to join Leeds, as well as helping him settle in at the club.
Rutter was among those in attendance at Elland Road in midweek, as Leeds booked their place in the fourth round, and is excited to fulfil his dream of playing for a 'big club' in the Premier League.
"Everyone's treated me fantastically well. I've had a great welcome, I'm enjoying my time here so far. I'm lucky in a sense that my teammates have been superb up to now," Rutter revealed.
"I've got a close relationship with Illan. Great that I know him from playing in the French side together. I had a chance to go to the stadium the other night and it was just magical. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, loved it!
"It's been a dream of mine to play at a big club in the English Premier League. It's a great league, after chatting with Illan again, he told me what a great club it is. So that was convincing me as well."
Leeds currently sit 14th in the Premier League, and are just two points clear of the relegation zone. However, Rutter believes his new club should be higher in the table, and is determined to help them climb into a more prosperous position.
"I know that Leeds is a massive club with a lot of history behind it. Looking at the league table, I think they deserve to be higher.
"With the quality of players from what I've seen of them so far up close, I think we're a team that deserves to be higher in the league, and hopefully we will climb that table in the next few months."
