No. 3 Georgia (8-0) takes on No. 1 Tennessee (8-0) in possibly the biggest college football game of the season at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday in Athens.
The Bulldogs return home after a 42-20 win over rival Florida a week ago, and Tennessee is coming off a 44-6 beat down of Kentucky in Week 9.
Multiple key Bulldogs are battling injuries ahead of this historic matchup. Here’s an updated Georgia injury report ahead of the game.
DL Jalen Carter
Injury: Knee (MCL)
Status: IN
Carter played limited snaps last week versus Florida and should be active against Tennessee.
RB Kendall Milton
Injury: Groin
Status: Probable
Milton missed the last two matchups while battling a groin injury.
Kirby Smart after Tuesday’s practice: “(Milton) practiced with the team today and took some reps.”
WR Adonai Mitchell
Injury: Ankle
Status: Questionable
Mitchell sustained an ankle injury Week 2 against Samford and has missed the remaining games besides brief action versus Auburn.
Kirby Smart: “(Mitchell) has not been practicing with the team and has been working to the side.”
OT Amarius Mims
Injury: Knee (MCL)
Status: Doubtful
Mims suffered an MCL injury versus Florida and missed the remainder of the game.
Kirby Smart: Similarly to Mitchell, Mims has not been practicing with the team and has been working off to the side.
Edge Nolan Smith
Injury: Pectoral
Status: OUT
The star linebacker suffered a torn pectoral muscle versus Florida and will miss the remainder of the season.
DB Dan Jackson
Injury: Foot fracture
Status: Out
Jackson suffered a hairline foot fracture earlier this season and will have surgery. He is likely done for the year.
RB Andrew Paul
Georgia suffered a huge blow Saturday when freshman RB Andrew Paul tore his ACL.
