Willy Sagnol, who said ahead of the tournament that Georgia aren’t just here for the ride, has a clean bill of health, though three of his defenders, including skipper Guram Kashia, are a booking away from a suspension.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is the star of the Georgia squad, but Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili and Metz striker Mikautadze have been their star performers so far.
Rafael Leao is suspended and Francisco Conceicao and Joao Palhinha have a booking apiece, which has given Martinez even more reason to test the depth of his talent-stacked Portugal squad.
It's the ideal opportunity to rest Pepe, who at 41 is the the oldest player to feature at any Euros, though the comparatively sprightly 39-year-old Ronaldo is desperate to play in order to get on the scoresheet.
