The Jacksonville Jaguars are bringing in yet another draft prospect who could upgrade their defensive front seven.
According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, Georgia Tech defensive end Keion White is reportedly set to visit the Jaguars and eight other teams before the 2023 NFL Draft.
White is a former tight end who transitioned to defensive end during his time with the Yellow Jackets and now measures in at 6’5, 285 pounds. The long, athletic, and strong defender is still finding his way as a pass rusher, but he offers scheme versatility and would likely slot in as a defensive end in Jacksonville’s 3-4 defense.
In recent mock drafts from ESPN’s Todd McShay and Jordan Reid, both analysts had White landing in the second round. The Jaguars own the 56th overall selection.
The Jaguars have focused much of their pre-draft energy on pass rushers and defensive linemen. Other players who have visited or are scheduled to visit include Georgia’s Nolan Smith, Tennessee’s Byron Young, Louisville’s YaYa Diaby, Auburn’s Colby Wooden, and Oklahoma State’s Tyler Lacy.
