The Georgia Bulldogs and UCLA Bruins have canceled their home and home series in 2025 and 2026. Georgia was previously scheduled to play at UCLA on Aug. 30, 2025.
UCLA joining the Big Ten and the SEC’s expansion complicated Georgia’s series with the Bruins. Now, Georgia will host the Marshall Thundering Herd on Aug. 30, 2025. Marshall plays in the Sun Belt conference and went 6-7 during the 2023 college football season.
Due to the timing of the cancellation of the Georgia-UCLA game, UGA did not have much time to find a new opponent.
Fortunately, Georgia football fans can hang their hat on the remainder of Georgia’s 2025 schedule. The Bulldogs play the same SEC opponents as they do in 2024 (just at opposite venues). That means that Georgia will notably host Texas, Ole Miss and Alabama in 2025.
There’s no doubt that Georgia faces a crumby nonconference schedule in 2025. The Bulldogs host Marshall, Austin Peay and Charlotte. Georgia also travels to play at Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
