ESPN has ranked Georgia Bulldogs running back Trevor Etienne among the top-five running backs in the 2025 NFL draft. Etienne, who transferred to Georgia from Florida this offseason, is a versatile running back that is an excellent receiver out of the backfield.
In 2023, Etienne recorded 131 carries for 753 rushing yards and eight touchdowns for Florida. The talented running back added 21 receptions for 172 yards and a touchdown as a receiver.
Etienne is expected to hold a significant role in Georgia’s offense. The 5-foot-9, 205-pound running back is explosive and bounces off many would-be tacklers.
ESPN’s Matt Miller ranks Etienne as the fifth-best running back in the 2025 NFL draft. ESPN’s Jordan Reid has Etienne as the draft’s fourth-best running back.
NFL teams will have some off-the-field concerns for Etienne, who was charged with a DUI and reckless driving this offseason. As a result, potential suspension could be in play for Etienne early in the 2024 season.
