Georgia's Top Running Back Trevor Etienne Ruled Out

Trevor Etienne, the leading running back for No. 11 Georgia, will be sidelined for the upcoming game against No. 6 Tennessee due to a rib injury. Etienne sustained the injury during a game against Florida on Nov. 2 and saw limited action in the recent loss to Ole Miss, where he managed 34 yards on nine carries.

Initially listed as questionable for the crucial matchup against the Volunteers, Georgia officially ruled Etienne out in the injury report submitted to the Southeastern Conference on Thursday evening. The running back, in his first season with the Bulldogs after transferring from Florida, has been a key contributor with 477 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 5.0 yards per carry.
