There’s not enough space here to describe all the differences between Los Angeles and Indianapolis. Here’s the most important one as the college football world descends on the west coast this weekend. Los Angeles is gigantic and spread out, while Indianapolis is as small and simple as cities get.
Last year, Georgia ended its 40-year championship drought with a win over Alabama in Indianapolis in the College Football Playoff. A year later, it tries to protect its crown against TCU in Los Angeles — and more specifically, the suburb of Inglewood, home of LAX and SoFi Stadium.
