Georgia QB Carson Beck inks new NIL deal

Georgia first-year starting quarterback Carson Beck has signed his first major Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deal, a partnership with Zero FG Energy Drink.

It’s fitting that the new partnership was announced shortly before Beck had his best performance as a Bulldog in a 49-21 win over UAB. Beck completed 22-of-32 passes for 338 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, while adding another score on the ground.

Beck has a $291,000 NIL valuation, per On3, which ranks in the top 200 of college football.

The junior signal caller waited his turn behind two-time national champion Stetson Bennett, despite the option to enter the transfer portal for more playing time.

It looks like Beck’s patience has paid off in more ways than one as Georgia is 4-0 on the season headed into a road matchup with Auburn. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET and the game will air on CBS.

Beck will be making his first career road start at Auburn in Week 5.
