Georgia is the hottest team on the recruiting trail right now, but the Bulldogs can’t win them all. Class 2024 four-star offensive lineman Casey Poe has announced his commitment to Alabama.
Poe, out of Lindale, Texas, chose Alabama over Georgia, LSU, Clemson, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Auburn.
Poe is rated as the No. 4 interior offensive lineman and the No. 103 recruit overall in his class, per 247Sports Composite.
Georgia, who holds the No. 1 ranked class, should be happy with the offensive line group as it stands. The Bulldogs hold commitments from four-stars Daniel Calhoun (No. 4 OT), Nyier Daniels (No. 10 OT), Michael Uini (No. 14 OT) and Marques Easley (No. 17), along with three-star Marcus Harrison (No. 30 OT).
The average weight of this group is an astonishing 345 pounds.
Casey Poe announced his commitment to Alabama via social media:
God has given me many abilities and opportunities that I will forever be grateful for. I would also like to thank everyone who has stayed with me and encouraged me throughout my recruitment process.
With that being said,
