Georgia Hits 900,000 Voters Statewide On Election Day

The Georgia Secretary of State’s office has reported that the state has reached a significant milestone on Election Day, with 900,000 voters casting their ballots statewide. This number is a part of the projected 1.2 million voters expected to participate in the election on Tuesday.

With polls closing at 7 p.m. ET, it is estimated that 68% of the state’s voters have already exercised their right to vote. Prior to Election Day, the early voting turnout was impressive, with 4 million ballots cast, representing a 55% turnout rate.
