Georgia Harrison has revealed that she’s found love two years after her ex leaked a sex tape featuring her online without her consent.
Stephen Bear, 32, was found guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress.
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant had shared CCTV footage of him and Harrison having sex on Whatsapp and online in 2020.
As a result of the harrowing ordeal, Harrison revealed that many brands didn’t want to work with her and found it hard to date.
Now as she moves on from the case, the former Love Island star told The Sun that she is “rebuilding her life with her new partner and work has started to come back in for her”.
Her comments come after Bear was found guilty of two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress at Chelmsford Crown Court.
The former Celebrity Big Brother winner and Harrison, 27, were recorded having consensual sex on CCTV cameras in Bear’s garden in Loughton, Essex on August 2 2020.
Harrison said she did not know that they were being filmed and told Bear not to share footage when he showed it to her, but she said that he went on to share it on WhatsApp and online.
Speaking after the verdict, Harrison admitted she felt “crippled by shame” as she recalled telling her family that there were intimate clips of her circulating online.
During the trial Jacqueline Carey KC, prosecuting, said Harrison, who waived her right to anonymity, told him “never to send” it to anyone and “made it plain how upset she would be if he did”.
Harrison said that she saw Bear send the footage to someone on WhatsApp later that day, and later that year she was made aware that it was circulating online.
Ms Carey said that Bear uploaded the footage “either himself or had it uploaded to OnlyFans and profited financially”.
Bear, who has appeared on Ex On The Beach, said that he deleted the video on August 2, 2020, and did not send it to others.
Asked about footage being uploaded to his OnlyFans page, he said: “I don’t know of any video being uploaded.”
Bear had denied all charges, but on Tuesday, a jury found him guilty by unanimous verdicts. He was found guilty by a majority verdict of 10 jurors to two of voyeurism.
The judge bailed Bear until January 31 to return to the same court for sentencing, after a report has been prepared about him.
During the trial, his Twitter account advertised a “50 per cent off” deal for his adult entertainment website alongside a photo of him arriving at court.
