The Georgia Bulldogs offered a scholarship to St. Frances Academy defensive lineman James Carrington, a member of the class of 2026.
Georgia previously found a gem from St. Frances Academy in linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson. St. Frances Academy, which is located in Baltimore, Maryland, is one of the top high school football programs in the nation.
Carrington is an unranked recruit. The talented defensive line prospect visited Georgia in March 2023. Carrington wrestles in high school in addition to playing football.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pound defensive lineman is only a freshman in high school. However, Carrington already holds offers from Notre Dame, Florida State, Wisconsin, Alabama and more top college football programs.
Here is one of Carrington’s better plays from this past season:
Lil Freshman put OL on 🛼!! Great way 2 play your role for now, and help your team when called. Great win!! Keep yo 👀 on the 🏈 though Bro. Perfect DL play!! outside collapsing DT and LB right there. No Gain on the play. SFA Defense 💪🏽 !!! pic.twitter.com/axrPxpCgY2
