The Georgia Bulldogs had a busy week on the recruiting trail, handing out scholarship offers to a number of different high school prospects.
Included in that is 2025 wide receiver Maurice Gleaton Jr.
Gleaton, out of Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia, does not have any rankings or stars next to his name, but that could soon change after being offered by the back-to-back national champions.
Georgia is only Gleaton’s second offer. Georgia joins Austin Peay in pursuit of the Peach State native.
At 5-foot-10, 160 pounds, Gleaton did not produce much during his sophomore season at Langston Hughes. He had only 46 total yards, while his team went a perfect 15-0.
Gleaton is known for his speed. He’s recorded a 10.14 100-meter dash, a 20.52 200-meter dash, and a 48.04 400-meter dash.
