Steelers wideout George Pickens appeared to vent his frustrations on social media on Friday night.
The talented receiving threat, who is apparently upset by his poor performance in Thursday night’s 20–16 win over the Titans, reportedly posted an Instagram story with the phrase “Free me” written at the bottom, according to 93.7 The Fan. The story has since been deleted.
Following the deletion of the story, Pickens decided to remove all references to Steelers from his profile. He removed nearly all photos tagged of him and no longer has a profile picture, while opting to keep just a handful of posts live on his profile.

It also appears that the second-year wide receiver unfollowed quarterback Kenny Pickett, coach Mike Tomlin and the Steelers official account.
Pickens, who had just two receptions for minus-one yard (and missed out on a touchdown when he failed to get a second foot inbounds) against the Titans, was frustrated after the game, according to Mark Kaboly of The Athletic told 93.7 The Fan.
The wide receiver was “by far the first person that left the field, in the locker room and out the door. …. He was not happy,” said Kaboly.
Despite improving to 5–3, one of the Steelers’ best offensive weapons is clearly not happy about his usage, coinciding with the return of Diontae Johnson to the lineup after injury.
On the season, Pickens has 30 receptions for 521 yards and three touchdowns.
