George Hook has told how debt nearly destroyed his marriage, as he warned of the social effects of the cost of living crisis.
The outspoken pundit – who previously spoke of going broke – told the Irish Mirror that many couples don’t survive the immense strain of money troubles.
Hook, 81, admitted his financial woes nearly caused a split with wife Ingrid, saying: “Debt is corrosive to marriage. It was hugely damaging to my relationship.
