Fans were treated to a healthy dose of nostalgia as a 'Cascarino' featured in Ireland's International friendly with France.

And with George Hamilton providing commentary for the game, many fans were brought right back to the 1990's when Cascarino and John Aldridge wreaked havoc in an Irish shirt.
"Hearing George Hamilton say “Cascarino” on commentary has me feeling all sorts of nostalgia for 90s football," said David on Twitter.
"I'm finding it quite discombobulating every time George Hamilton says 'Cascarino'!" said Grace.
"When was the last time George Hamilton said: "Awkward one for Cascarino to deal with" In an Ireland match?!" said another user.
This isn't the first time Hamilton and Cascarino have evoked memories of the golden age of Irish soccer, with many fans making similar points when Hamilton commentated on a French game at the Women's Euros last Summer.
"George Hamilton hasn't said Cascarino that much since USA 94," said another user at the time.
While another said, "George Hamilton saying "Cascarino" for France women must bring back memories from 30 years ago."
