George Ezra has given Ant and Dec prior warning on what might be to come from his performance as he gets set to join them on this week' Saturday Night Takeaway.
After being pulled off air for a week in March so ITV could screen live coverage of the Six Nations rugby, Takeaway had a storming return last weekend as Ant and Dec were joined by Michael Buble, who opened the show with his new song Higher, before teaming up with the Geordie hosts for the End of the Show Show. And now it's Budapest and Shotgun hitmaker George who gets to do the honours.
He follows in the footsteps of Canadian crooner Michael, dance act Malevo, Sam Fender and the winners of RuPaul's Drag Race UK to take centre stage in the End of the Show Show. But it's not George's first Takeaway rodeo as he appeared alongside Ant and Dec on their hit programme in 2018.

After performing his smash hit Paradise, George returned to the stage to sing Barcelona and as the track built to a crescendo, he, Ant and Dec all crowd surfed, much to the delight of the fans in the studio. And it looks like George might be expecting more of the same this weekend.
Sharing a clip of his last appearance on Takeaway on Twitter, George wrote: "Looking forward to performing on
@itvtakeaway again this Saturday! Ready for another crowd surf @antanddec?"
While Ant and Dec have yet to respond, plenty of George's fans did. One replied: "Honestly can't wait. I am so happy to see you on it again yes!"
Another excited follower reacted: "Gonna be great!!!!," with a third tweeting: "It will be amazing to see you there again! Good luck"
Star Guest Announcer for this week is Steve Coogan's radio DJ alter ego Alan Partridge.
