Hollywood actor George Clooney has revealed the secret to his eight year marriage to human rights lawyer Amal Clooney.
The pair have reportedly "never" argued in nearly a decade of matrimony.
Once known as one of Hollywood's most famous bachelors, 61-year-old George tied the knot to wife Amal in 2014 after dating for a year. The pair were introduced by mutual friend David Letterman, before falling 'head over heels in love'. Three years later Amal gave birth to twins Ella and Alexander in 2017.
Speaking in an interview, George described the pair's relationship as the "easiest" thing either of them have ever done.
Speaking on their wedding anniversary George said: "It does start with love. That's sort of the whole secret to it.
"It's just been easy. Like the easiest thing we have done in our lives thus far.
"We've never had an argument."
This isn't the only insight into his love and family life that George has shared. He recently joked he made the 'terrible mistake' of teaching his children Italian.
Appearing on CBS Mornings to discuss their new awards show, the Clooney Foundation for Justice's inaugural Albie Awards, George and Amal discussed their five year old twins with George opening up about the mistake of teaching them another language.
"We made a terrible mistake. We taught them Italian... but we don't speak Italian," the star explained.
"We've armed them with a language they can harm us with, and we don't really know what they're saying."
Italian isn't the only language the twins can speak, as Alexander and Ella also speak French - a language their mother is fluent in. George also joked that, as he's from Kentucky, "English is my second language."
The pair's happily family life is something neither of them had anticipated, with Amal revealing she never expected to start a family or find 'the one.'
Speaking to Vogue, Amal said: "I was 35 when I met him. It wasn’t obvious that it was going to happen for me. And I wasn’t willing or excited about the idea of getting married or having a family in the absence of that."
Speaking of the early days of her relationship with George, Amal explained: "It felt like the most natural thing in the world.
"Before that experience, I always hoped there could be love that was overwhelming and didn’t require any weighing or decision-making."
