The family of the late football legend George Best has hit back at “nonsensical” claims by his ex-wife Alex that his ghost is haunting her.
Former air stewardess Alex, 49, was in the headlines after telling a TV show that she is still visited by world-famous star George some 17 years after his tragic death.
But the ghoulish claims have upset members of the Best family, including George’s loving sister Barbara and her husband Norman McNarry.
