Former Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle enjoyed an “important” holiday with his wife and two young children as the trip marked more than one milestone for the family.
The Prudhoe-born 34-year-old married Emma McVey in a sweet ceremony last year before moving to their dream family home in Leeds with their two children, son Chester and daughter Primrose. A long way from his Geordie Shore partying days, Gaz regularly treats his legion of social media followers to heartwarming photos of days spent with his wife and kids.
But the happy family have also experienced their own struggles. Emma was diagnosed with three large holes in her heart just weeks before the pair tied the knot, and is soon set to undergo surgery according to a recent update from Gaz. Emma said in a social media post back in June 2021 that the holes “should have been closed off” when she was a child, and that doctors were “baffled” as to how she managed to carry both of her babies with the terrifying condition, OK! magazine reports .

The family of four enjoyed a sunny holiday in Ibiza earlier this month, as Gaz shared a touching message on Instagram about what the trip meant to them all. He wrote alongside a sweet picture of him and Emma with the kids: “Such an important holiday for so many reasons.
“Primrose’s first holiday, Chester’s first holiday he can remember, last holiday before Chester starts school in September and last holiday before we get back and Emma has her open heart surgery… it’s been special,” he continued in the emotional post. Fans quickly flooded the comments section with messages of support for the family.
Both Emma and Gaz shared a series of adorable photos to Instagram showing their little ones having the time of their lives in the Ibiza sunshine. Chester and Primrose were seen enjoying a picturesque boat trip, soaking up the sun on the beach, and splashing in a pool.
As well as her heart condition Emma has also opened up in the past about suffering from colitis , a condition which causes the colon to become inflamed that left her barely able to stand before she was diagnosed. Last month the model revealed that she had spent time in hospital after having a “mini stroke”.
“My babies are the only reason I manage to stay positive,” she wrote on Instagram alongside pictures of Chester and Primrose in June. “For the past few days I’ve been in hospital and it’s been the worst experience of my life. It’s been hard for me, Gary, and our family.”
