Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan has revealed that the stress of her upcoming wedding has disrupted her menstrual cycle. The 29-year-old bride-to-be is set to tie the knot with her Chorley FC footballer fiance Jacob Blyth.
The reality star has been feeling stressed in the lead up to their big day and, taking to her Instagram Story, Holly opened up on the 'crazy' effects planning her wedding has had on her body. She shared a screenshot of the Clearblue pregnancy app which showed she is currently on day 42 of her menstrual cycle, but is yet to have a period.
Holly explained: “Wedding stress is no joke. The effects stress has had on my body is crazy. I’ve had three totally on time periods and this one was supposed to be perfectly timed the week before we came away. Now it’s 12 to 14 days late (no, I’m not pregnant).”

She told fans that she may have to 'risk' being on her period on her wedding day. She wrote: ”Now I’m like hmm so I start taking period delay tablets and risk bloating plus having to remember to take them 3x per day and if I don’t I may come on...
“Or risk coming on on my wedding day and trust me I can’t even wee in my dress never mind change a tampon.” Holly is currently holidaying with her man and the pair shared photos and video clips from their sunshine break.
Holly celebrated her engagement to Jacob in 2019 with a party attended by a host of her Geordie Shore star pals. They chose Victoria Warehouse in Trafford for their special celebration.
The star arrived in a figure-hugging sparkling pink dress for the party in a Katie Price-style wedding carriage pulled by white horses dressed as unicorns. Once inside she changed into a golden bikini top and matching flares to dance the night away.
Castmates past and present including Sophie Kasaei and Charlotte Crosby were among the guests. Afterwards an emotional Holly told her Instagram followers that it was the 'best night of my life.'
Holly announced the happy news that they were engaged on Instagram in June 2019, revealing that Jacob had popped the question while they were holidaying in Ibiza on their second anniversary. "I can’t believe I’m actually writing this, or that we and everybody else managed to keep it a secret for the last couple of weeks," she wrote.
"But on our second anniversary on the island where we first met, the love of my life asked me to be his WIFE!! I was honestly in shock, I believed for such a long time that I didn’t deserve to be loved, But I was so wrong. Jacob is everything I was told I didn’t deserve and more."
Last year she celebrated turning 29 after moving into her Manchester home with Jacob. The party had a glam boho theme with earthy coloured balloons in rustic red, brown, beige, cream and gold and Holly looked out of this world dressed as a fairy in a grey corsetted outfit with coordinating wings.
