Geordie Shore's Nathan Henry and boyfriend line up surrogate as they talk about kids

Nathan Henry has revealed that he's beginning the process of having a baby with his boyfriend Declan Doyle - and they already have a famous surrogate lined up.

The Geordie Shore star, 30, who previously opened up about quitting booze for his sexy sober beau, is ready to be a dad.

Now, thanks to a kind offer from one of the couple's famous pals, they already have a surrogate on board.

After meeting them on MTV's Ex On The Beach, Married At First Sight Australia star KC Osborne offered to carry Nathan and Declan's baby for them.

And unable to find much about the process of welcoming a child together online, Nathan and Declan want to capture their journey on camera for a documentary.

As they sat down for an exclusive chat with the Mirror, Declan, 32, who already has a daughter from a previous relationship, told us: "It’s something we’ve both been thinking about. I’ve got a daughter who’s 10 and she’s changed my entire life.

"I was only 21 when I had her but she made me grow up and see the world differently and I feel like having her was the best thing that ever happened to me.

"Having someone to look after and knowing they're yours is the most beautiful thing and I think we’re at that stage where we’ve been talking about it.

"We’ve already got three dogs between us, and having children is something that would bring us even closer together."

Nathan and KC grew close while filming Ex On The Beach, but became even firmer friends when she was unable to fly back to Australia when filming wrapped and moved in with Nathan instead.

"She lived with me for about two months and saw me and Declan getting closer and closer," reality hunk Nathan explained.

"She just told me one day, 'If you wanted to have a baby, you do know I would carry it for you, don’t you?'"

Explaining her heartfelt offer, KC added: "I love Nathan and Declan, and they have such a beautiful connection and so much love to give.

"Nathan is my best friend and I think he will be the best dad, and there is no doubt that Declan is already an amazing dad, so why not? I would be so excited to give them the opportunity of having a child and I would love to be part of the child’s life, obviously I’d be the favourite auntie."

Nathan and Declan are keen for documentary cameras to follow their journey.

They've been struggling to find information about the process, and hope to help other same-sex couples get the help they need to become parents.

Nathan said: "There’s not enough knowledge of what it’s like for same sex parents to go down the route of surrogacy or adoption and I’d love to do a documentary about it to help other people because there’s not enough information out there about it."

"It’s a much bigger process than it would be for a heterosexual couple and we need to find out more about it," Declan added.

"And obviously when KC said that she’d love to be our surrogate it really made us quite excited."

Nathan and Declan went on their first date in May last year after meeting on Instagram and falling for each other.

And while some may think their romance is in its early days, Nathan says there's no doubt in his mind that he's ready to start a family with Declan.

He said: "You could start the process now and it could be three of four years before we have a baby."

"Put it this way, if I was a girl I’d be pregnant by now," he joked. "There’s no doubt in my mind about that."

Declan added: "We’re best friends and partners and I think that’s what is key to a strong foundation for a relationship, especially when you want to become parents."

The couple say they'd love to have two kids together - a boy and a girl - and say sharing their story is so important because it's something they feared they'd never have.

Nathan said: "Before I came out, my one fear about being gay was that I would never be able to have children. That’s when I was like 15 and the world has changed so much since then.

"We can make that dream a reality and I think it’s important to show that to other people.

"It’s important to do a show to reduce that stigma and show that same sex parents do have the same morals and family values as a heterosexual couple."
