Holly Hagan broke down in tears on Sunday, having received a Mother's Day present on behalf of her unborn child, from husband Jacob Blyth.
Holly, an original cast member on Geordie Shore when the show launched back in 2011, announced that she and footballer other half Jacob were expecting a baby together, months after they were married in an idyllic Ibiza wedding that was captured by MTV cameras. And then, as he gathered with Geordie Shore co-stars for her baby shower and gender reveal, Holly found out she was having a boy.
And, while he hasn't entered the world yet, the little one played a big part in Jacob's Mother's Day gesture. Taking to Instagram to share her tearful reaction with fans, Holly revealed that Jacob had given her a Mother's Day with a scan photo on from 'the bump, along with a baby gro carrying the message 'You’re going to be the best mummy, love bump xx'
Being very candid with her many followers, Holly wrote: "When I say I SOBBED. You are the most thoughtful incredible husband," before she added: "Well if this is how I react to my first Mother’s Day present then god knows what I’m going to be like when he’s actually here.”
After MTV cameras were there to film her gender reveal party, it was recently reported that Holly's labour will be filmed for the new series of Geordie Shore, with an insider telling The Sun: "Holly was torn at first about whether to share her labour with viewers, but she feels like her loyal fans have followed so much of her life that she wanted cameras to capture this too.
"She feels like it will be a beautiful souvenir of the most important day of her life.”
By having her baby's birth filmed for TV, Holly will follow in the footsteps of Geordie Shore co-star and close friend Charlotte Crosby, who let cameras into the maternity ward, when she gave birth to daughter Alba Jean, with the moment then playing out on screen for her BBC series Charlotte in Sunderland.
