Whiskey lovers can grab a deal on Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack Tennessee Whiskey as the price has been slashed down by almost 50% for Amazon Prime Day. Gentleman Jack is made using the same unique process as Old No 7, which is what many will think of as classic Jack Daniel's, but it goes through an additional ‘blessing' where it is charcoal mellowed again after reaching maturity to give it a smoother finish.
The Amazon Prime Day price of the Tennessee Whiskey is just £19.99, while it normally costs £36, so whiskey drinkers are taking full advantage of the sale to stock up.
The 40% liquor boats tasting notes of maple syrup, fruit and vanilla spice with it being said it's best enjoyed straight or in a Gentleman Sour cocktail. Fans of the brand insist it tastes undeniably like Jack Daniel's but less sweet than Old No 7.

It's not the only Jack Daniel's product to drop in price; the Tennessee Honey Whiskey, known as 'a slice of pecan pie in a glass' has dropped down to £21.99 with a gift tin that makes it ideal for gifting. As has Tennessee Fire, which is described as a 'hot bakery cinnamon roll in a glass of Jack' and Tennessee Apple which delivers classic whiskey with the flavour of sweet green apples.
Fans of the product have said that Gentleman Jack is something they would want to stock up on. One shopper wrote: "I love Jack Daniel's whiskey & had to try this & wasn't disappointed , it's so smooth & easy to drink, however unlike standard JD I would say this one is better to drink straight, whereas the original is better with Coke."
A second said: "I'm by no means a bourbon connoisseur, but I do enjoy the occasional drink which nearly always means some form of bourbon is involved. I am a fan of Jack Daniel's, however saying it out loud usually carries a stigma. Having drank my fair share of No7, I thought it was time I upped my game and bought the slightly more expensive stuff. Gentleman Jack seems a lot smoother and easier drinking than No7 (something that won't carry much weight to some people), but when I say it's easy drinking I mean just that.
"It really is Jack, but not. It carries the same general feel of drinking Jack Daniel's, but more refined in every way.I have enjoyed it straight and also mixed as a Whisky Sours (or Gentleman Sours as Jack Daniel's call it). It's delicious both ways and I would encourage anyone buying it to give both a go. Having tried it, I would never opt to drink No7 again except maybe with coke. It really is worth the extra money and more in terms of taste and drinkability."
