Marseille head coach Bruno Genesio dismissed speculation over his future on Monday after Paris Saint-Germain won 2-1 at the Vélodrome to inflict a fourth consecutive defeat on his side.
"There is no question of resigning," said Genesio after Sunday night's match in front of 62,000 spectators.
"I'll take stock with the management, with my staff, and with the players, because for now what matters to me is helping the team improve."
Genesio, who took over at Marseille in July following two years at Ligue 1 rivals Lille, added: "On the team's spirit and commitment, I don't have much to criticise since the start of the season."
PSG took the lead midway through the second-half when Spain international Ferran Torres scored his fourth goal of the Ligue 1 season.
Angel Gomes levelled for Marseille after 72 minutes but PSG skipper Marquinhos restored the advantage for the visitors two minutes later.

Marseille's hopes of salvaging at least a draw suffered a blow when striker Timothy Weah was sent off after collecting a second yellow card.
"We simply have to do better in our own penalty area," added Genesio. "We're conceding far too many avoidable goals."
The victory propelled PSG up to sixth in Ligue 1 while Marseille flounder in 17th place in the 18-team top flight.
"We can suffer defeats, that's part of football," added Genesio. "But being satisfied with honourable defeats, especially four in a row in the league, is not acceptable.
"We know that every Ligue 1 match is difficult and when you can pick up points against very good teams, that gives you confidence and also allows you to build on that.
"In the last few matches, we haven't got what we deserved, but we also haven't done enough to deserve better," he added.
Monaco lead Ligue 1
Monaco set the Ligue 1 pace ahead of the two-week break for international games.
They boast 13 points after five games. Lyon and Paris FC sit two points behind on 11 points. PSG's success took them to eight points.
"We knew that for us it was one of the most important matches of the season," said Torres, a summer signing from Barcelona.
"We knew it wouldn't be easy but we managed to get the victory. Now we can go away and play for our countries and disconnect from club football for a bit."
Torres, whose extra-time goal gave Spain victory over Argentina in the World Cup final in the United States in July, features in the Spain squad who will play their first game since that vcitory away to England in the Uefa Nations League on Saturday.
France, under new head coach Zinedine Zidane, play in Turkey on Friday night in the same competition.
