Sarah Cardell takes the post of interim boss at the CMA

Sarah Cardell has been appointed interim CEO of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) from her current position of general counsel at the industry body.

She will take up the role temporarily when current CEO Andrea Coscelli leaves in July.
