Gemma Owen has revealed that she and Luca Bish are yet to make things official more than three weeks after the pair left the Love Island villa.
Dressage rider Gemma, 19, insisted things were going well between the pair and said Luca feels "pressure" to make a big gesture to Gemma.
The couple were runners up in the latest series on Love Island, which wrapped up on August 1, and had the smoothes journey compared to the rest of the Islanders.
But, as other couples made it official the pair decided that, while they were in love, they would wait to meet one another's families before becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.
Since leaving the villa, Gemma has introduced 23-year-old Luca to her dad Michael Owen and other family members – but the question is yet to be popped.
Gemma has now opened up on her first YouTube video about her relationship status as she said: "I know a lot of you are like: 'What's going on with Luca?' Things are going really, really well.
"Since being out of the villa things have changed for the better – feelings have grown so much more, which is kind of obvious. But, I wasn't expecting it to be going how it is.
"There's a lot of questions on: 'Oh are you two official yet?'. Whenever we do an interview that seems to be the most talked about topic."
She then clarified: "We're not yet. I feel like there's been a bit of a build up now, people are like: 'When is it gonna be? When is it gonna be?' I feel like he's got a bit of pressure on him like: 'S**t I need to make something good out of this'.
"But, it's definitely on the cards and I think it will definitely be really soon so really excited for that."
The reality star, who was recently signed a six-figure deal with Pretty Little Thing, then opened up on Luca finally meeting Gemma's footballer dad Michael Owen.
She said: "We went to Portugal for four days and he met my dad and family friends and that was amazing.
"That was honestly so nice. For the first meeting it was a quite intense environment... 'You're meeting my dad, let's do it on holiday'. But it couldn't have gone better. They seem to get on really well. It was all really good."
It comes after Gemma's dad Michael, 42, revealed he had a tense chat with his daughter when she revealed her Love Island plans.
"It wasn't the best of conversations when she first asked me about going on Love Island," he told OK!.
"She's pretty sensible and she's a good kid and I had no worries," Michael said. "I just didn't bring myself to watch some of the challenges and things like that.
"I don't like seeing my daughter kiss people, but I probably watched 30 to 40% of the show. On the days that I didn't watch, I was on the phone to the wife [Louise] at five past 10 asking, 'how did she do?'"
