Gemma Owen's mum made a cryptic dig as she alluded to "fakery" in a social media post following her break-up from Luca Bish.
The 19 year old's mum Louise Bonshall was celebrating New Year's Eve with Gemma and their close family and friends.
Gemma wore a brown leather mini dress and strappy stilettos as she sat next to Louise on the staircase of their £4millionfamily home.
The pair posed in front of their friends as they collected by the carpeted stairs.
Sharing the photo on social media, Louise appeared to make a cryptic dig at her daughter's 24-year-old ex Luca.
"Keep your circle small, no need for fakery here," she wrote with a heart emoji.
It comes as Luca was spotted appearing to cosy up to a blonde at a New Year's Eve party.
Luca has joined Love Island winners Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti at their New Year's Eve party, which also doubled up as a birthday party for the Italian stallion.
In a video, Luca was seen laughing and joking as he danced and wrapped his arms around the blonde's shoulder.
In November, Gemma announced she has split from Luca after weeks of speculation about their strained relationship.
The daughter of football legend Michael Owen said in a statement: "To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship.
"It wasn't an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for both of us right now.
"Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning, and I wanted to thank you for your continued support as we start new chapters."
In a statement shared with The Mirror, Luca revealed that he would have liked to have had time to process the split but was bombarded with a string of messages.
He told us: "I would have liked some time to process this privately but as you all already now know sadly Gemma and I made the mutual decision earlier today to go our separate ways.
"We have been on such a journey together and have made some amazing memories which I will treasure. I can’t thank everyone enough for their support for us as a couple during and after Love Island."
