Gemma Collins says things started to look "really, really bad" when she collapsed while working as she opened up about her concerning recent health scare.
The former TOWIE star, who was left hooked up to a drip for days, said that she wouldn't wish the experience "upon her worst enemy".
She was filming More Than Daffs and Taffs in Wales, a show which will see her explore her Welsh heritage.
But she fell seriously sick and came close to being rushed to hospital before medical help was called for.
The GC is also battling polycystic ovary syndrome and an underactive thyroid but she recently had a fresh health worry after being struck down by a mystery illness.
Despite trying to continue as normal, she said that her "body was having none of it".
The doctor was called out and the reality star was ordered to rest.
Gemma told New magazine that things got "really, really bad" and she had to call for help while filming.
“I have been so ill I cannot tell you," she said. "My workload has been a lot, but I’ve had a virus.
“I’ve been really, really, really unwell. I literally had to film in Wales and I was very unwell.”
She continued: “I called the doctor out and he said to me ‘look I’m going to give you medicine but I actually think this is a virus and it’s not going to work…”
Her fiancé Rami wanted to take her to hospital because she was “collapsing on the floor.”
She's kept fans up to date with her medical woes, sharing photos of drips hanging out of her arms.
Gemma has also been eating more organic food in a bid to be more sustainable to healthy.
The reality TV star is preparing to marry Rami and has been proudly showing off her slimmer figure.
She told the Mirror that she is hoping to tie the knot at Claridges in London.
Sources claim that she is now on a mission to drop to a size 16 so she can "look and feel her absolute best".
An insider told Closer magazine: "Gemma knows the size she fells most comfortable at and with wedding fever mounting, it’s made her more determined than ever to hit her target of a size 16, so she can look and feel her best on her big day."
"She’s been dress shopping and has already got her heart set on three different creations – insisting she has the licence to have at least three outfit changes as The GC!"
