Gemma Collins has been singing Yma o Hyd and - genuinely - she's pretty good at it. The GC donned a bucket hat to sing Dafydd Iwan's famous song alongside Miriam Isaac in a clip which looks like it's from a new S4C series where reality TV celebrities immerse themselves in Welsh culture.
The video was posted on S4C's Hansh social media channels on Tuesday, November 29 - just before Wales took on England in the football. Yma o Hyd has become an unofficial anthem for the Wales football team and members of the Red Wall have spent the last couple of weeks belting the song out wherever they've gone in Qatar.
The TOWIE star and presenter Miriam Isaac can be seen singing the song on a stage from the National Eisteddfod, with the GC wearing a bucket hat, holding a Welsh flag, and kind of stealing the show. In the video, she grabs the microphone, says: "Give me the mic, honey," and launches into a good old sing-song.

Gemma is due to star in new S4C series More than Daffs and Taffs, in which celebrities go on a 48-hour journey through "the real Wales" before the presenter quizzes them on their biases and assumptions about the nation. When the series was announced, the reality star said: "When I think of Wales, I only really know it for the valley life.
"But I want to know... Is there more to Wales? From the minute I pulled up in Wales, all I could smell was coal – the smell I could never forget – It's my earliest childhood memory."
To be fair to the GC, she makes a good attempt of Yma o Hyd - her pronunciation seems sound and her voice is pretty impressive. Viewers were divided though - some praised her, with one saying "Fair play, she's giving it a go." Another added: "Singlehandedly just saved English-Welsh relations." One person called the GC a "bilingual queen," and another a "Welsh icon".
Others on Facebook less impressed - one person declared: "This is single-handedly the worst thing I have ever heard & seen." Several weren't sure what to think, calling the whole thing "a confused slay."
Gemma Collins causes a stir wherever she goes - earlier this year, she gave WalesOnline one of the more bizarre interviews we've been a part of. WalesOnline has contacted S4C to confirm whether the clip is from the new series.
