The Only Way Is not Essex for former series icon Gemma Collins.
She believes the ITV2 reality show that launched the careers of the GC, Mark Wright and Joey Essex has lost its star power.
Gemma, 42, was a hit with her diva antics but doubts anyone in the 31st series could follow in her stiletto-clad footsteps.
She laughs: “I watched it the other night and I’ll never get those minutes of my life back. What’s happened?
“There were about two scenes in it. Chloe Brockett was good, and the new girl Elma [Pazar] but the rest of them were terrible.
“There’s no stars there, darling – we were stars.”
Gemma insists she would not be lured back , adding: “Being in those toxic arguing environments... it’s a load of crap.”
There is one star in Essex at least: Gemma’s pet cat Snowybelle, which enjoys the finer things in life.
And Gemma plans to give her a De Beers diamond-encrusted collar, as she revealed at Felix’s Be a Cat Cafe in London.
Everybody really would want to be a cat.
