Gemma Atkinson was left keeping the truth from her two-year-old daughter after they returned home from a lovely afternoon to a grim discovery in their garden.
The former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actress had spent her Sunday reuniting with former co-star Kelly Condron who plays Zara Morgan in the Channel 4 soap. Gemma took to Instagram to share that Kelly had invited her and Mia over for "a bit of food" before wowing them with a full, delicious-looking spread in the garden.
The reunion, which comes after Gemma made a brief return to Hollyoaks as Lisa Hunter earlier this year, also saw the pair catch up with Helen Noble who played Abby Davies in the soap from 2000 to 2004.

But after a lovely afternoon basking in the spring sunshine and catching up with pals, Gemma was expecting to find what she did in the garden of her stunning home which overlooks sprawling green fields.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Monday morning (April 25), the Hits Radio host said: "Last night I came home... there was a lamb's tail in my garden. I'm not even joking. I'm not going to post a photo of it because obviously it's not nice."
Panning her phone to show her stood in her garden next to the field of lambs and sheep, Gemma repeated: "A lamb's tail. I think, well my mate googled it because I sent it in the girls group, and Nat said they dock them. I didn't know that. So I think a bird has picked it up from there and dropped it here.
"It was awful. I didn't know what it was to be fair and I FaceTimed my mum with it. My mum went, 'Oh it's a squirrels tail that,'" to which Gemma laughed: "It looked nothing like a squirrel's tail and I went, 'Have you had some prosecco,' but then Peter my step-dad said it's a lamb."
She had written across the video: "Didn't tell Mia, she'd be traumatised," before adding in the video: "I put it in the bin. Mia at it... 'What is it?'" before Gemma told her it was "just some fluff" and ushered her inside to distract her with some Fireman Sam on the TV.
She has since returned to the social media platform after being sent messages about her find. Gemma has been told the lambs tails are docked to help keep their rear ends clean, which reduces the risk of fly strike, which is confirmed by the RSPCA.
It comes after Gemma opened up over the weekend about missing her fiancé Gorka Marquez as he prepares to hit the road with some of his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars. The Spanish dancer has already left to prepare for the Strictly Come Dancing - The Professionals tour which comes to Salford's The Lowry theatre next Thursday.
The 37-year-old from Bury revealed their daughter Mia's reaction to her professional dancer daddy being away, saying the two-year-old asked if she could walk to London to see him. "Missing Gorks at home these spring nights. He left for the tour the day we landed back from Tenerife so it’s been face times with a cuppa the last two and a bit weeks," Gemma wrote alongside a snap of the couple smiling for the camera.
She continued: "Mia asked yesterday if she could walk to London to see him. Excited to see the show next weekend but more excited to see him mid week." And she added jokingly: "Just for two days mind then I need my space @gorka_marquez."
