The joyful moment Gorka Marquez was supported by daughter Mia was shared as his latest show came to Manchester. As Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka tore up the floor in Firedance at The Bridgewater Hall on Saturday night, his fiancee Gemma Atkinson and their three-year-old Mia were cheering him on.
His fellow pro dancers Aljaž Škorjanec and Janette Manrara were also there to see the dance show co-starring another Strictly Come Dancing favourite Karen Hauer. And dad-to-be Aljaž, whose wife Janette is pregnant with their first child, captured an adorable scene from backstage as Gorka and Mia giving each other a kiss.
Hits Radio presenter Gemma posted on her Instagram that she and Mia had almost missed the show. She wrote: "The one Fire Dance show we can watch in Mancheter and it's looking like we'll miss it," she typed. "We're at a standstill on the motorway due to an accident. Looks really bad. Those poor people involved."

The former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale actress later updated with a picture taken of her view of the stage: " We made it! Just in time. Incredible show!!!"
Gemma, who is pregnant with their second child a baby boy due this summer, previously told fans that her man drove through the night to get home to his family while on his current tour. On Friday night they performed in Southend-on-Sea, Essex before bringing the show 200 miles up north.
Gemma, 38, from Bury, took to her Instagram this morning as she kept Mia entertained with a jigsaw while he was sleeping. She explained in the Instagram Stories video clip: "Gorka didn't get in until 3 this morning and he's got a show tonight in Manchester."
She added: "He's going to be knackered," as she zoomed the camera in on a mug bearing the word 'knackered' to sum-up how he'll be feeling. "It's still going to be a cracking show," she added.
Last month Gemma opened up about her daughter's difficult goodbye to her papa after a "short and sweet" visit of 24 hours. Gemma said both Mia and doting dad Gorka burst into tears as the dancer from Spain went back to work
To mark Gorka being home the trio had another Pancake Day together. "Papa being home was short and sweet, especially with Pancakes. (We had another pancake day together)," wrote Gemma as she shared snaps of father and daughter in the kitchen on her Instagram on February 25.
"Mia is always ok when Gorks is packing and saying bye, but every time, right before he gets in his car she bursts into tears. Then that makes him do the same!"
During his precious time back home last month Gorka posted an adorable collection of pictures showing the three of them smiling together, one of father and daughter pulling faces and Mia's 'Welcome Home Papa' card. "24h and a bit at Home with my girls," he wrote. "Cuddles, food, movies, shopping and Mia asked me to paint her nails."
