GE Aerospace to nearly double supplier spend in India by 2030, eyes growing aviation demand

GE Aerospace has announced plans to nearly double its spending on Indian suppliers between 2025 and 2030, as the company looks to strengthen its domestic supply chain and support India's rapidly expanding aviation sector.

The announcement was made alongside the release of a report by Ernst & Young (EY), titled 'Powering Progress: GE Aerospace's Economic Impact in India', which assesses the company's economic contribution to India's commercial aviation, defence, manufacturing and engineering sectors over four decades.
