Gavin Bazunu has earned huge praise for the role he played in Southampton's 1-1 draw with Arsenal at St Marys this afternoon.
The Irish international keeper joined Southampton from Manchester City in the summer and has quickly taken the number one shirt.
Bazunu has had something of a dodgy start to the season at club level and has only picked up one clean sheet this term. And at International level, some criticism was levelled at the youngster for his performance in Ireland's recent Nations league win over Armenia.

But Bazunu was back to his best today. In the first-half Arsenal battered Southampton. The 20-year-old however was immense in the first period and pulled off a string of super saves that had Southampton fans singing the youngster's praises.
Sam posted, "Gavin Bazunu is going to the top of the game."
While Jacob said, "Gavin Bazunu (20) with a stunning save to deny Jesus, this lad looks promising"
"I can see Gavin Bazunu going on to be a top goalkeeper," said James.
"Gavin Bazunu is always impressive when I watch Southampton. Great future for the young Irish international," said another user.
While Jacob said, "Gavin Bazunu with another good save from Jesus' volley. He's been really impressive this month."
While Bazunu was beaten by a fearsome Granit Xhaka strike early on, he made a string of super saves to stop Jesus and deny Xhaka scoring a second. The Irish star kept Southampton in the game and gave them the platform to grow into the game.
Arsenal tired massively in the second period and it was Southampton who looked the more threatening side down the stretch.
And it was fitting that Bazunu dealt with some aerial bombardment in the final few minutes to help the Saints hold on for an important point.
