Gautam Gambhir heads back to Australia, to reunite with team on Tuesday

NEW DELHI: Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir is set to rejoin the squad in Australia on Tuesday, ahead of the second Test at Adelaide Oval, scheduled to begin on December 6. Gambhir had briefly returned to India for personal reasons following the team's commanding win in the first Test in Perth.

In his absence, India played a two-day warm-up match against the Prime Minister's XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra. The game was curtailed to a 46-overs-a-side contest due to bad weather.
