Gatwick strike announced during flights chaos as more than 200 airports workers to walk out in pay row

Gatwick Airport is facing further disruption this month after more than 200 workers voted to strike in a dispute over pay.

The walkout comes after the UK’s second-largest airport was hit by major disruption caused by an air traffic control technical failure on Tuesday, which grounded hundreds of flights and affected thousands of passengers.
