The Golden State Warriors are getting a much-needed boost to their roster. Gary Payton II, who has missed the past three games due to injury, is listed as “probable” for Golden State’s game against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday (Nov. 24.)
Golden State has struggled throughout November and will come into the contest looking to bounce back from their loss to the Phoenix Suns. Payton II brings energy and explosiveness to the second unit and can be relied upon to put maximum effort on both sides of the court. He has played in 12 games so far, averaging 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist, shooting 45.3% from the field and 34.6% from 3-point range.
Nevertheless, Steve Kerr will likely be grateful to have another member of his rotation back in the fold, putting the Warriors closer to a full-strength lineup.
Gary Payton II is probable for the Warriors tomorrow vs Spurs. On track to return after three missed games.
