Gary Neville often speaks about Liverpool, and some of his previous comments about the Reds may have come back to haunt him.
The Reds were not favoured by many, if any, pundits to compete for the Premier League before the season started - with Manchester United often tipped to finish higher in the table.
Neville was outspoken about his predictions of where he thought both Liverpool and United would finish.
His prediction at the very start of the season had Liverpool finishing fourth behind Chelsea (second) and Man United (third).
Back in October, after filming a Monday Night Football alongside Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, Neville took part in an Instagram live where he spoke about his old club and the Reds.

When giving his thoughts on Man United, Neville still stood by his comments about Liverpool finishing below his old club.
“We’ll be alright, don’t worry. I still think we’ll finish second this season,” said Neville on Instagram.
“There’s a long way to go, it’s early doors. There’s always a lot of emotion at United but I think we’ll finish second.
“Second or third. I think they’ll finish above Liverpool to be fair.”
Carragher was alongside Neville in the video, off-camera, and could be heard saying “no chance” when the claims were made about his old club.
At the time the video was filmed, Man United had just lost 4-2 away to Leicester City.
It was also less than a week before Liverpool claimed a historic 5-0 win over Man United at Old Trafford.
Just two months later, Neville changed his view and adjusted his prediction to have Liverpool finish second above Man United in third.
And he was forced into another u-turn recently, admitting last week that Liverpool "could have an incredible season" despite saying in September that something was "not right" at Anfield.
After Man United’s defeat to Manchester City, Liverpool are now 16 points ahead of their old rivals with a game in hand, who are now fifth and struggling for a place in the top four.
