Gary Neville believes Manchester City were happy to sell Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal because of Julian Alvarez's summer arrival.
Jesus, 25, joined the Gunners in a £45million deal in July. The Brazil international's impact at the Emirates has been obvious, as Mikel Arteta's side sit five points clear of City at the top of the Premier League table heading into the second half of the campaign.
Yet Alvarez, 22, looks like an exciting prospect. The Argentina international has scored seven goals for City so far - playing second fiddle to Erling Haaland - and has helped is country reach Sunday's World Cup final, where they'll take on France at the Lusail Stadium.
