Gary Neville says that Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen could still play for a top-six Premier League side and has suggested that Liverpool should be taking a serious look at him.
The former Tottenham star, now 30, returned to English football this season after suffering an on-field heart attack during last summer's EURO 2020 tournament. Since joining the Bees, Erikson has been in superb form, making 10 appearances, scoring once and providing four assists in a productive run of games, proving he can still cut it at the top despite his health scare.
The Dane's contract with Brentford expires next month and although he could still sign a new deal to stay in West London, former Manchester United star Neville thinks that the Premier League's best sides will be considering making a move.
