Manchester United legend Gary Neville has been left red-faced after the Premier League predictions he made at the start of the season resurfaced.
The Sky Sports pundit, along with colleague Jamie Carragher, attempted to predict how the league season would pan out. In August, the pair predicted the champions, top four, overachievers, underachievers, top goalscorer, young talent and one to watch.
Unfortunately for the former United full-back, his guesses were well wide of the mark. He predicted that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would lead his side to a third-place finish, however, the club could now finish as low as seventh.

He predicted that Chelsea would finish second and that Liverpool would make up the top four with Manchester City as champions. Carragher also got his prediction on United wrong, fancying them to finish fourth, however, he did hit the nail on the head by naming United as underachievers - even if the outcome was worse than initially predicted.
Neville said that Everton would be overachievers and yet they currently find themselves fighting to try and retain their Premier League status. Meanwhile, the former United skipper tipped Romelu Lukaku to win the Golden Boot, though the Belgian has mustered just eight league goals all season - 14 fewer than leading marksman Mohamed Salah.
