Gary Neville has issued an apology after revealing he will be banned from driving.
The ex-Manchester United defender took to Twitter this afternoon to claim he will soon be banned from the roads after being caught speeding recently. He made the admission in response to a tweet by Paul Waugh, a journalist at The i newspaper, regarding the Partygate fines.
Amid reports that Boris Johnson could receive three more fines over the scandal, Mr Waugh quoted an ally of the Prime Minister who is reported to have said: “If you’re caught speeding at 35mph four times, that doesn’t mean that you were speeding at 140mph. It doesn’t mean that you really endangered life because the cumulative effect of all your speeding in 30mph zones amounts to 140pmh, does it?”
