In the second half, Harry Kane netted a consolation goal only for Callum Wilson to restore the five-goal lead just moments later with his first involvement after coming off the bench.
The result was bad for Spurs, but the performance is extremely concerning especially with another major clash to come at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Manchester United this Wednesday. With Spurs in utter turmoil, Lineker was rather enjoying their collapse as he posted several jokes on social media aimed at the north Londoners.
