Gary Lineker has laughed off Ederson's nervy moment in the first-half of Manchester City's Premier League clash with Liverpool.
It was a heart-in-mouth moment for Ederson as a Kyle Walker passback trickled away from the City number one. However, he scrambled back in time to cooly clear the danger despite the sliding challenge from Diogo Jota.
Pep Guardiola's side got off to the perfect start when Kevin De Bruyne's effort from outside the box deflected in off the post. However, going behind saw the title-challengers spring into life as they landed the second blow when Jota's effort squirmed in.

The Match of the Day presenter was quick to offer his thoughts on Twitter, he said: "Not one to panic is @edersonmoraes93." Ederson's fellow countryman Gabriel Jesus beat the offside trap just before half-time to fire the leaders back in front.
There was another moment of panic minutes later as Trent Alexander-Arnold tried his luck from inside the centre circle. But with Ederson backtracking, the Liverpool man didn't get hold of the ball with his strike and the effort was confidently chested down by the City goalkeeper.
