Leicester City favourite Gary Lineker thought Nottingham Forest were "very impressive" in defeat against Tottenham on Sunday.
Forest lost 2-0 to Tottenham at the City Ground over the weekend, with a brace from Harry Kane seeing the visitors return to north London with all three points. Forest's performance has earned praise from pundits and supporters alike, with Leicester hero Lineker among those commenting.
Much has been made of the Reds' summer transfer window this summer, with spectators not close to Forest worrying that the club are overspending. While the new players will take time to gel, performances on the pitch are already starting to prove people wrong.

"Another thoroughly entertaining game of Premier League football," Lineker wrote on Twitter. "Three points for Tottenham but Forest were very impressive."
Lineker's verdict on Forest was echoed by Micah Richards on Match of the Day last night, with the former Man City saying Forest were "outstanding" against Tottenham.
"They deserved something from the game today," Richards said. "I thought that they were outstanding, especially when you've got young players in there, coming to the Premier League.
"They're fearless, but a bit naive at times if I'm being totally honest but very exciting to watch and the crowd were brilliant."
