Gary Barlow fans have rushed to offer support after he shared a health update on his wife, Dawn Andrews, who underwent a "big operation" this week,

The Take That singer took to Twitter on Sunday to share that his wife was in "a lot of pain". The 51-year-old added that she is on the road to recovery.

He said: "In other news - Mrs B broke her wrist 4 weeks ago - on Friday she had a big operation. She’s in a lot of pain but on the mend - juggling real life this week with the blessing of being in the West End - it never rains."
