Gareth Southgate contract: How long is England boss' current deal

Gareth Southgate had led England into the knockout stages of the World Cup in Qatar.

Victories over Iran and Wales and a draw with the USA saw them qualify for the next round of the competition in the Middle East, and a comfortable 3-0 win over Senegal in the last 16 set them up for a clash with France in the quarter-finals.

It is Southgate's third major tournament at the England helm; he took them to the World Cup semi-final in 2018, then guided England to the Euro 2020 final in 2021 where they lost to Italy on penalties.
