Gareth Southgate has backed Harry Kane after his costly late penalty miss in England’s World Cup quarter-final defeat by France.

The Three Lions crashed out 2-1 in Qatar, with Olivier Giroud scoring the winning goal. Before that England had equalised from the spot through Kane and they won another penalty late on.
